Young Manga Artists from the Evelyn Grace Academy

The Evelyn Grace Academy asked their students to tell them what they love about manga, and draw some pictures of their favourite manga characters. Here’s what they had to say, and you can see their awesome manga art by clicking on the thumbnails above!

I Enjoy Naruto VERY much...at times it’s not educational, but most of the time it has strong morals... (but sometimes I just enjoy the fights)! I <3 Naruto!

Why I like Manga...
I like Manga because it’s funny, scary and it has romance, which I like.
My favourite characters are:
-the girl from Maid Sama
-Lucy from Elfin Lied
-the girl from Fruit Baskets

Courtney F:

Kakashi is one of my favourite Manga characters because he is not silly and he is very polite. He is very determined to save his city and town against Atakuki. Naruto is a fascinating manga because it is exciting. Also Kakashi is a brilliant teacher, although Suske, one of his students, had turned bad!

What I like about Naruto is that it shows me to never give up if I want to achieve something. Also it gives me the courage to do things I wouldn’t normally do!

Detective Conan (case closed)
I like this character because he is very smart and funny, plus talented. It is one of the best anime I have watched and the manga I most like to read.
I like how he spots little stuff and solves the crimes and that, like Sherlock Holmes, he also pays attention to detail. I also liked how well he is skilled with the football. Also I enjoyed drawing him

I like Naruto because it’s fun to watch and it’s got lots of fighting. Manga made me better at drawing and shading, and that’s why I read and draw Manga. I also like different Manga like Gants and Bleach.
