Cycling in London doesn’t have to be about cold, windy mornings and irate drivers. Imagine a comfortable cycle with a stylish pannier drawing envious looks from other cyclists. With dedicated slots for your tech stuff, all fears of damaged mobiles and/or laptops might as well be a thing of the past! Goodordering, brainchild of designer Jacqui Ma, has done just that. With a range of stylish cycling accessories, Ma has answered the modern-day cyclist’s dilemma: How do I do stylish and functional without compromising on either one?
Founded in 2012 and based in Hackney, Goodordering was started by designer, Jacqui Ma. Her background in design and product development spans luggage to laptop cases, having worked for department store Debenhams and sports brand Puma throughout her 10+ years as a designer. The original Goodordering range of bags launched with a crowd-funding campaign, prompted by her local life in East London living on top of a bike shop. Surprised by the lack of fashionable bags for the commuter cyclist, Ma set out to design a capsule collection of bags that would withstand the fickleness of fashion but offer something more exciting than what was out there.
