  • Sun

Those of you who can’t get enough kawaii idol action are in for another treat at our HYPER JAPAN Festival! J-pop idol Rio Hiiragi will be holding a special concert on our HYPER Live Stage on Friday, so rock up with your glow sticks for a good old-fashioned idol fan fest!

Rio has been active as an idol for 4 years now, and has released several singles both as a solo artist, and as a member of idol groups Heart&Cupid and ALLOVER. The song “Drawing” from her second CD single was used as the theme song for the web drama “Akiba Tekini”, and the single “sekai de ichiban natsu ga suki” which she released as a member of ALLOVER achieved 8th place in the Oricon daily rankings. What’s more, Rio’s solo cover was the most popular version, with over 3,000 copies sold!

Rio is also active on television and in pageants such as the Moe Queen Contest, and in 2013 she made her overseas debut in Taiwan and France. With over 1.25 million views on her YouTube videos, and with further concerts scheduled for Macau, Shanghai and France, Rio Hiiragi is definitely a rising star of the J-pop world!
