Music and Anime fans rejoice, we’ve got another Christmas present for you this HYPER JAPAN Christmas Market; Both Joe Inoue and Diana Garnet will be joining us at our November event!
Joe Inoue is a musician born in the USA to Japanese parents, who credits anime and manga for helping him speak fluent Japanese despite growing up in Los Angeles. He’s best known for two of his songs which have been used as Anime opening themes: “Closer” was used as the fourth Naruto Shippuden opening song, and “Kaze no Gotoku” was used for a season of Gin Tama. He’s also a regular part of “J-MELO”, a television programme by NHK World which airs in over 150 countries.
Diana is also from the USA, having grown up with her parents’ musical influence and developed an interest in Japan through anime and manga. While living as an English teacher in Japan, she worked hard towards her dreams of a major debut, and the turning point for her was winning the Nihon TV 2013 “Nodojiman THE WORLD” contest. Her first album, “COVER ☆ GIRL”, was released later that year.
Diana will be at HYPER JAPAN on both Saturday and Sunday, while Joe will be appearing with Diana on the Sunday only. We look forward to welcoming them to our main stage! In addition, they will be participating in a Q&A session after their show.
