A visit to the CLAIR stand at the HYPER JAPAN Festival could result in a life-changing experience in Japan! Although you might not have heard of it, the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations is the body that administers the JET programme for teaching English in Japan.
The scheme, which is this year celebrating its 30th anniversary, has provided the opportunity for many thousands of people from around the world to interact with communities across Japan, and given then an insight into Japanese life and culture. Each year, nearly 5,000 applicants travel to Japan to work either as Assistant Language Teachers in schools or as Coordinators for International Relations in local government organizations.
You can learn all about the great work that has been done to foster better relations between Japan and the rest of the world, and enquire about taking part in future schemes, by visiting CLAIR at HYPER JAPAN this summer.
