All visitors need to book a ticket, including children of all ages. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Children under 10 years old may enter free of charge when accompanied by at least one adult holding a full-price general admission ticket. Each full-price adult ticket permits up to three (3) children aged 10 or under to enter free of charge as part of the same group.
Please refer to the tickets page for further information.
NOTE: Tickets for children 10 years old and under must be reserved. These tickets are free of charge only when your group includes at least one full-price general admission ticket.
The Tomodachi Bundle Ticket is a special group package that includes 5 General Admission tickets to HYPER JAPAN Festival 2026. It’s perfect for friends and family who want to enjoy the event together at a discounted rate. You can purchase multiple bundles in sets of 5 (e.g., 10, 15, 20 tickets). It is only available for General Admission tickets—other ticket types must be purchased separately.
All special events and activities (i.e. Meet & Greet, Workshops etc.) require an “add on” ticket which is only valid if accompanied by an admission ticket for the same day.
We accept both printed and mobile e-tickets for entry to HYPER JAPAN Festival 2026. While you can display your e-ticket on a mobile device, we recommend printing your tickets as a backup in case of technical issues or device malfunctions. Having a printed copy ensures a smooth entry experience.
Re-entry to the event after once leaving must be via the main entrance. Please show your wristband to the entry staff to re-enter.
The Organiser will make every effort to ensure that entry into the event is as smooth as possible. During busy times, it may be necessary to wait to gain entry into the event. In the case that event areas reach their capacity, visitors will be required to wait to gain access.
Please plan ahead and allow enough time to get to the venue, especially if you are planning to see a popular show or performance. It is strongly recommended that you arrive early so you will not miss the show due to queuing.
We’re not doing Sake Experience (Street) this year, but don’t worry! There will still be plenty of exhibitors showcasing a great selection of sake for 2026. There will also be several exhibitors offering sake tastings, and one of them will even have guided tasting sessions.
Stay tuned on our socials and website for more details.
We regret to inform you that HYPER JAPAN Festival 2026 tickets are non-refundable and we are not able to offer exchanges, as per our Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to:
- 1. Long waiting times to gain entry to the event.
- 2. Change of event contents or guests.
- 3. Any other personal reason.
There are no age limits for the general event. However, children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, and proof of age will be required to purchase items such as alcohol, solvents or sharp kitchen tools as per UK legislation.
Visitors with disabilities (e.g., Blue Badge or Disability Card holders) who purchase a ticket can bring a support person for free by selecting the “Carer” option when booking.
Carer tickets are free when booked in conjunction with a valid full-price admission ticket for the person with a disability. For clarity, a Carer ticket cannot be counted as a full-price adult ticket for the purposes of free Under 10 entry.
The carer must be at least aged 16 or above. Although we recognise the support provided by young carers, we must be confident that carers could assist effectively in the event of an emergency.
Event staff may request proof of eligibility, such as Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), or a Blue Badge.
Olympia Event is an accessible venue, with step-free access and lifts. The accessible entrance will be the same as the main entrance.
For full details, please visit Olympia London Access Information.
Carer Passes can be requested during ticket purchase by selecting the “Carer” option. On the first entry day, carers will receive a wristband. For visitors with a 3 or 2-day pass, the carer only needs to register for the first day, as the wristband will remain valid for the duration of the ticket.
If your group includes at least one adult holding a full-price general admission ticket, up to three (3) children aged 10 or under may enter free of charge. Groups with children under 10 must always include at least one full-price adult ticket.
No. Even if the child is disabled and accompanied by a Carer, the group must still include at least one full-price general admission adult ticket to enter.

Yes, you can. We encourage all visitors to stay hydrated by bringing their drinks and a refillable water bottle. Free water refill stations will be available inside the venue. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
There are no cash machines inside the venue. While we’re working towards making HYPER JAPAN a fully cashless event, some traders may still only accept cash. We recommend bringing enough cash with you to cover any purchases, just in case.
Lost property should be handed in to the Organiser’s Office where it will be held for the duration of the show. At the end of the show, lost property will be held by the venue. Please email lostproperty@olympia.london or use the enquiry form.
No. Carer Tickets are only valid when used alongside a full-price General Admission ticket and do not replace the requirement for a paying adult. Even if the child with a disability is under 10 and eligible for free entry, your group must include at least one full-price General Admission ticket in order to enter. Up to three children aged 10 or under may enter free per one full-price paying adult.
Thank you for your understanding!

Please take heed of Scam Emails and Correspondence. There are a number of companies contacting HYPER JAPAN Festival exhibitors attempting to sell show visitor databases and online profiles in what they claim is an official guide. These companies are fraudulent and are not associated with the show in any way. Any offer or communication is a scam which has no connection whatsoever with Cross Media Limited. The Association of Event Organisers recommends that all exhibitors at UK events approached by such companies should destroy the mailshot immediately.
