Sumi-e & Shodo Online Workshop with Akemi Lucas
Who has the desire to start or improve your skill using Japanese ink techniques?
Akemi Lucas is here for you to teach you Sumi-e (Japanese Ink Painting) and Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy).
Next Sumi-e (Japanese Ink Painting) online workshop will be on 6th February 2021 from 10:30 to 12:30 to draw beautiful” White Plum Blossom – 白梅” on Zoom.

Precautions:Over 15 years old, calligraphy equipments
Another Sumi-e Japanese ink painting workshop to draw beautiful “Coloured Cherry Blossom – 桜” workshop will be held on 13th March 2021 from 10:00 to 13:00 (3hr) on ZOOM. You will learn to draw both images below.
Precautions:Over 15 years old, calligraphy equipments needed.

Koshu Japanese Art : Akemi Lucas (雅号:紅秋)
Instructor’s profile:

Koshu is the identity of Akemi Lucas as a Japanese calligraphy master. She was born in Japan and started learning calligraphy from the age of eight. Her distinct style of calligraphy builds on traditional skills, and further embodies of fusion of the ancient and the modern, the eastern and the western, and the before and the after. Currently, she is based in the UK as a Japanese artist, predominantly working on exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, and commissions. Her latest calligraphy artworks were used in the 2019 Rugby World Cup and a multi-media advertising campaign for the main sponsor of the British Olympic team for the Tokyo Olympic Games.
