Kanzashi Christmas Flower Workshop & Felting Workshops

  • Sat 2

You might have tried making cute needle felting animals with Jessica Corlett from Flapjac in the past at HYPER JAPAN. This time, she’s back for double the fun! If you can’t catch the big workshop on Saturday, don’t worry! Jessica will be down in the J-Culture Activities area for the whole weekend running back to back Kanzashi Christmas Flower workshops along with her adorable Needle Felt Snow Rabbit workshop!

Kanzashi Christmas Flowers: HYPER Creative Studio

Learn the art of kanzashi and take home a festive fashion accessory.  The fabric origami flowers in this workshop are inspired by the Christmas flower, the poinsettia. You can turn your finished flora into a brooch or a traditional hair ornament.

Workshops are running every alternate hour across the weekend, so drop by her table in the J-Culture Activities area and book your session! Or grab the chance to join a special big kanzashi workshop on Saturday in the Creative Studio!

Needle felting is all the rage in Japan’s craft community and is super easy to learn!

Workshops are running every alternate hour across the weekend, so drop by the stand in the J-Culture Activities area and book your session.
