We are honoured to have three incredible Japanese chefs sharing their skills and insights with us for what is sure to be one of the highlights of this winter’s HYPER JAPAN.
Tomokazu Matsuya has cooked for international VIPs as the Japanese Self-Defence Force’s Chef for 15 years. He later moved to London where he is currently the Head Sushi Chef at Miyama Mayfair.
Utako Tanner is a London-based Japanese artisan baker. She has been living in the UK since 2002 and recently appeared on the BBC, where her Earl Grey and Citrus Peel Bread was a huge hit.
Izumi Nakamura is from Amakusa, a beautiful chain of islands located in the south of Japan, blessed with delicious, natural, wholesome food. As well as being an outstanding sushi chef, Izumi is a dietary consultant, pharmacist and qualified sake sommelier. This incredible background helps her create dishes and menus that are as nutritionally balanced as they are delicious.
With these three Japanese food experts preparing a range of delicacies and delights in their demonstrations, as well as samples for the audience to try, places are bound to go fast so arrive early to secure entry.
