Our very first HYPER JAPAN Manchester 2025 was a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture, brimming with creativity, discovery, and festive spirit! The festival welcomed thousands of visitors who came to explore, taste, learn, and celebrate all things Japan under one vibrant roof. 

Over 190 market exhibitors filled the venue with handmade crafts, fashion, art, and exclusive products, each created with passion and care. From the latest pop-culture goods to beautifully crafted traditional items, visitors enjoyed discovering unique treasures and many left with early Christmas gifts or special treats for themselves. 

Our catering area kept energy high throughout the weekend, with visitors eagerly queuing for warming Japanese dishes, sweets, matcha, and more. The very first Manchester Sake Experience also took place, showcasing a fantastic range of Japanese alcoholic drinks and giving attendees the chance to vote for their favourites. 

The stage programme kept the energy high throughout the weekend, featuring a mix of traditional and contemporary performances with a diverse lineup of musicians, DJs, and cultural acts that delighted families, anime fans, and visitors of all ages.
