AKB48 groups and 7 overseas sister groups are joining together at once!

For those who don’t know – ‘AKB48 groups’ is the sister groups of a Japanese idol group AKB48. AKB48 was produced by Yasushi Akimoto and mainly performs at the exclusive AKB48 Theatre in a city called Akihabara in Tokyo. The sister groups include 5 sister groups across Japan and 7 groups in some of the Asian cities such as Indonesia to India.

The AKB48 sisters united for the first time in the history of AKB48 groups at “AKB48 group Asia festival” in Bangkok in January 2019. And only 7 months after the first festival in Bangkok, the second festival was held in Shanghai due to the huge amount of AKB48 groups’ fans and the festival fans! But this coming third event held on the 27th of June will be even more upgraded!

The festival will be featured with Tokyo, the city that the AKB48 was born in, as the centre of the event and will be a virtual performing stage. Don’t miss the incorporation of XR technology, which is unique to this online staging. This will allow you to experience the event in many ways and interact with all exciting contents.
