Pride Month is a month where people all around the world, not just LGBTQs and allies, come together to celebrate LGBTQ culture, support LGBTQ rights and empower the LGBTQ community.

Over the years, there has been continued progress towards a diverse and inclusive Japan with a boost provided by the announcement of the Tokyo Olympics back in 2013. LGBTQ has become a topic discussed not only in people’s daily lives but has also garnered the attention of businesses in recent years.

This event, sponsored by Ikigai Authentic, Medito Foundation and Ranstad Japan, aims to share the LGBTQ celebrations and developments in LGBTQ initiatives in Japan. Our speakers will provide an insight into how their businesses are celebrating Pride Month, supporting LGBTQ communities and share any advancements they have seen over the past years.

In a time when we can’t travel to Japan nor hold our yearly HYPER JAPAN on-site summer event, we hope that you will join us to appreciate Japan’s culture and spread the love that has created HYPER JAPAN the cultural institution it is today.
