Mother’s Day Flower Wreath Making with Alice Stern 

Join Alice for her Mother’s Day Flower Wreath making workshop! We will be focusing on making beautiful origami wreaths: a flower wreath made from 4 different hand folded flowers.

These wreaths are perfect for a special Mother’s Day gift, a gift for someone special or as a gorgeous spring feel object to decorate your home with.

All materials and decorative accessories will be provided and sent to you in advance of your workshop.

Workshop plan

Please be prepared 10 minutes before the workshop starts.

  1. Meet and greet. Introduction to origami for special occasions and seasonal variations in paper design and style.
  2. Making a beautiful origami flower wreath, made from 4 individual flower pieces that are carefully assembled together.
  3. Decorating your wreaths with adhesive jewels and accessories, string and ribbon to tie them up with. Alice will send you several different types so you will have a wide selection to decorate your wreath.
  4. Q&A time

You will need scissors for this workshop.

I love origami and sharing my interest for it with others, we are focused on creativity and having fun in every event offered. I have run Alice Sushi Art for over 5 years after living in Japan for 2 years. I have experience in teaching all levels from very young children to adults and all with varying origami experience from beginner to advance. I am interested in origami installations and am currently completing one. I also have an online Etsy shop where I sell some of my handmade pieces.
