Terms & Conditions

Saturday sessions

There are two sessions of HYPER JAPAN on Saturday: 9:00 – 14:30 and 15:00 – 20:00.

The event will be completely closed between these two sessions. Last entry for the Saturday 1st Session is at 14:00, after which time no re-entry will be allowed.
The Saturday 1st Session ticket is valid for the Saturday 1st Session only, not for the Saturday 2nd Session, and vice versa. Tickets are non-refundable, and cannot be substituted for entry on a different Saturday session or different days.
Even if you have purchased a Dual Ticket or 3 Day Pass, you will be required to leave the event areas between 14:30 and 15:00.

Aside from personal photography (as explained above), our official HYPER JAPAN photographers and video crew will be on site during the whole event and you may be filmed or photographed by the organiser or a representative thereof. HYPER JAPAN or its associates reserve the right to use your image for promotional purposes on its website, print media or in other advertising on other unlimited channels. By entering HYPER JAPAN online 2020 and attending the event, you consent and agree to this.

Photography and videos for your personal use are permitted, but please ask for the permission of anyone whose photo you wish to take (cosplayers, etcetera).

Taking pictures of minors and vulnerable persons without a guardian’s explicit consent is not permitted within the event spaces. Anyone suspected or found to be doing so will immediately be ejected from the venue and relevant authorities will be called.

Your order number

If you buy a ticket from the referral URL of exhibitors, your order number might be shared with the specific exhibitor.
We will NOT share any your personal data such as name or email address.

Priority Entry tickets

Priority Entry ticket holders will have priority when queuing for registration, but will not have faster access to the various event areas inside the venue. Priority Entry tickets are valid once per day/session.
NOTE: If you are attending with children aged 11 and under, your priority pass will cover for them.

*During busy times, Priority Entry ticket holders may be required to wait to register. The waiting time for entry will be considerably shorter than that for General Entry ticket holders.
This is an additional option during the ticket purchasing process, and cannot be purchased online separately or independently from the entry ticket.
A limited number of Priority Entry tickets will be sold per day and session. Once these tickets are sold out, there will be no further availability.

Entry during busy times

The Organiser will make every effort to ensure that entry into the event is as smooth as possible. During busy times, it may be necessary to wait to gain entry into the event, even if you have purchased Priority Entry tickets. In the case that event areas reach their capacity, visitors will be required to wait to gain access.
Please plan ahead and allow enough time to get to the venue, especially if you are planning to see a popular show or performance. It is strongly recommended that you arrive early so you will not miss the show due to long queues.
