avantgardey is a dance group produced by a choreographer akane. Founded in February 2022, the group is known as the mysterious bob-haired, school-uniformed dance group. avantgardey has gained popularity both nationwide in Japan and internationally through TikTok and Instagram, reaching over 5 million followers combined across social media platforms. They participated in the 2023 version of America’s Got Talent and advanced to the finals.
