HYPER JAPAN Festival 2020

A celebration of Japanese culture at Olympia London from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th July.

With hundreds of exhibitors showing a huge variety of Japanese goods, art, fashion, games, and kawaii products, as well as mouth-watering food, HYPER JAPAN is the next best thing to a first-class flight.

While gourmets will want to spend more time tingling their taste buds in the incredible Food Court and sampling the one-of-a-kind rice wines in the Sake Experience, gamers will be drooling over the latest exclusives and getting involved with state-of-the-art techno sports from Hado. If these don’t boil your rice, why not go shopping for exclusive fashion at our kawaii market, or try your hand at traditional crafts at one of our workshops.

With mascot meet & greets, live performances from the hottest Japanese artists and an authentic Japanese matsuri summer festival, whether you’re a Hello Kitty or a Pikachu at heart, HYPER JAPAN has a place for you.

We also have Hello Kitty and Pikachu.

With all this and much more, this July HYPER JAPAN festival 2020 brings Japan to London and into your heart.

HYPER JAPAN Festival 2020

A celebration of Japanese culture at Olympia London from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th of July. We are proud to bring the very best of Japan to London this Summer.

Walking into HYPER JAPAN you are surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of Japan. With hundreds of exhibitors showing a huge variety of Japanese goods, art, fashion, games, and kawaii products, as well as mouth-watering treats from a wide range of Japanese caterers, HYPER JAPAN is the next best thing to being there.

This year’s festival celebrates all aspects of Japan, showcasing delicate and beautiful traditional arts next to the most advanced technology and up-to-date street fashions. Enjoy the fun of meet and greet experiences, where you can get your photo taken with the ever-popular characters, Hello Kitty and Pikachu.

What would HYPER JAPAN be without its legendary Food Court – spanning the incredible variety of Japanese cuisine, from carefully crafted cakes to moreish street food morsels. Come and try something new, or delight in some comfort food.

If you are more thirsty than hungry, why not head over to the Sake Experience. There are over 30* different Japanese rice wines to sample, including some never before seen in the UK. Once you’ve tried them all, you can purchase your favourites to take home with you.

While the HYPERLive! Stage hosts performances from the hottest Japanese musicians such as nano and Sayuri, and demos of the latest tech and video games, we are working our magic to create an authentic matsuri Summer Festival, along with your chance to try your hand at traditional Japanese culture in our workshops.
