Devil’s Tongue Jelly in Miso (Konnyaku Dengaku)

Low-calorie and healthy, this is a great way to get cooking with konnyaku.


Serves: 4

  • 1 block of Devil’s tongue jelly (konnyaku)
  • 240ml dashi
  • 120ml miso sauce
  • grated yuzu or lime rind


  1. Slice the jelly into 4 and simmer in dashi until cooked.
  2. Skewer then coat in miso sauce and garnish with rind.
