Green Beans in Sesame Soy Sauce (Ingen no Goma-ae)

A delicious and quick way to serve boiled greens


Serves: 2

  • 200g boiled green beans
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 3 tbsp ground sesame seeds


  1. Boil or steam the green beans (or other green vegetable), then drain.
  2. Mix the soy sauce, mirin and ground sesame together well.
  3. Pour over the green beans and serve.
