Love it or hate it, natto, or fermented soybeans, is really good for you. Here is a great way to try it in a simple dish.
- 1 pack (30g) of natto
- 1 large egg
- 1 spring onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- mayonnaise (optional)
- Place the natto in a bowl and mix gently with chopsticks.
- Add the egg, spring onion and soy sauce, and mix well to create an omelette mix.
- Heat the oil in a pan, and add the omelette mix (turning once, after the bottom of the omelette has been lightly browned).
- Serve with mayonnaise.
