Pasta with Salted Cod Roe

This simple, healthy dish can be whipped up for one or for many, in almost no time at all. Tarako is salted cod fish roe – the main ingredient in taramasalata. If you have trouble finding the roe, try substituting some of this popular dish.
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 100g spaghetti
- 35g tarako cod roe (try your local Asian or Scandinavian supermarket)
- 1 clove garlic
- Some nori
[A]
- 10g butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 splash of lemon juice
Steps
- Cut the tarako with a knife and scoop out the cod roe. Grate the garlic.
- Place the tarako, garlic with [A] in a bowl and mix well.
- Mix the ingredients with the cooked spaghetti and a tablespoon of the water it was cooked in. Serve on a plate and garnish with fine strips of nori.
