Rice and Peas (Mame-gohan)

Add some colour to your rice!
Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 450g rice, uncooked
- 225g peas
- 660ml dashi
- 1 1/2 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp mirin
- pinch salt
Steps
- Shell the peas, if using fresh peas.
- Place the rice, dashi, sake, mirin and salt into a rice cooker.
- Add the peas and spread evenly over the top of the rice, and cook.
