Salmon Rice with Tea (Sake-chazuke)

This is a simple and deliciously warming dish that is a great way to use up leftover cooked fish.
Ingredients
Serves: 1
- 130g cooked rice
- 30g salmon
- 1 nori sheet, shredded
- 300ml dashi or green tea
- 1tsp soy sauce
- pinch of salt
- 1tsp wasabi
Steps
- Rub the salmon lightly with salt, grill it, then slice up into fine strips.
- Place the dashi (or green tea), soy sauce and salt in a saucepan and heat through.
- Serve the rice in a bowl, laying the salmon on top, and pour the heated dashi or green tea mixture through. Sprinkle with nori and garnish with wasabi. Stir lightly before eating.
