Ikebana, also known as Kado is the traditional Japanese fl ower arrangement and it is one of three traditional Art forms that has been appreciated in Japan and across the world over the centuries. “The difference between Ikebana and the western flower arrangements in simple terms, is we create space with flowers with Ikebana while it fills space in Western style., " said no.michi.london. “ I believe it’s so much related to the Japanese philosophy of caring for others often more than yourself (subject)”. Through encountering the humble silent companions (flowers and foliage), Ikebana will take you to the journey of self-reflection and discovery of living in harmony at a slow pace. Or simply ENJOY!

At this workshop, you will learn 2 basic Ikebana styles guided by no.michi.london. The workshop is very informal and informative. All materials and tools are provided. At the end of the workshop, you will take materials home. Ikebana tools are available to purchase from no.michi.london booth on the ground floor (Booth G160) at a discounted price.
