Origami Workshop with Nia Williams

Origami is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding, transforming a simple sheet of paper into intricate shapes and figures without the use of scissors or glue. It is celebrated not only as a creative craft but also as a mindful and calming activity, encouraging focus and imagination. Designs can range from classic cranes to animals, flowers, and more, reflecting both tradition and playfulness.
Based in Manchester, Nia Williams is a Welsh illustrator and origami artist who has been hosting workshops across the UK since 2021. With a passion for mindfulness, creativity, and Japanese culture, Nia welcomes participants of all ages and experience levels to explore the beauty of origami together!
