Sado: Japanese Tea Ceremony Workshop with Yuko Boff


After a successful workshop in 2023 HYPER JAPAN Festival, we are thrilled to welcome back Yuko Kobayashi Boff, a prestigious “Omotesenke” tea school lecturer for an immersive Japanese Sado Tea Ceremony Workshop!
Join us for this opportunity to experience the Way of Tea. In this special workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience the beauty and philosophy of Sado firsthand, learning from an expert tea master. Whether you are new to the Japanese tea ceremony or have a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, this workshop will provide you with a unique and enriching experience.
What You Will Learn
Yuko will demonstrate the authentic tea ceremony and teach you the philosophy, etiquette, and rituals of Sado. You can experience traditional process of sado, like whisking and serving matcha, and enjoying tea with traditional Japanese wagashi sweets.
