HYPER JAPAN Manchester welcomes media professionals and content creators who wish to cover the event. We offer two types of passes: Press Pass and Creator Pass. Please read the guidelines carefully before applying. Approval is not guaranteed, and only successful applicants will receive confirmation.
Press Pass
The Press Pass is designed for journalists, photographers, and media representatives covering HYPER JAPAN Festival for established media outlets, newspapers, magazines, or online publications.
Eligibility:
- Journalists, editors, and reporters from established media outlets
- Professional photographers covering the event for press or editorial use
- Broadcast media professionals (TV, radio, etc.)
Application Process:
- Complete the Press Pass Application Form.
- Applications are reviewed based on media credentials and coverage plans.
- If successful, a confirmation email will be sent.
- Bring your confirmation email to the Press Registration Desk at the event.
Important Notes:
- A limited number of press passes are available.
- Each applicant must apply individually and team applications are not accepted.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email by the end of October 2025, your application has not been accepted.
Creator Pass
The Creator Pass is for social media influencers, bloggers, YouTubers, and content creators who focus on Japanese culture, events, and lifestyle content.
Eligibility:
- Active social media influencers with a significant following and engagement
- YouTubers and video creators focusing on Japanese culture, anime, gaming, or related themes
- Bloggers and independent content creators covering cultural events
Application Process:
- Complete the Creator Pass Application Form.
- Applications are evaluated based on audience reach, engagement, and relevance to HYPER JAPAN.
- If successful, a confirmation email will be sent.
- Bring your confirmation email to the Press Registration Desk at the event.
Important Notes:
- A limited number of creator passes are available.
- Applicants must provide links to their platforms and recent relevant content.
- Receiving a creator pass does not allow free access into events requiring an additional ticket, such as workshops and M&G.
- If you do not receive a confirmation email by the end of October 2025, your application has not been accepted.
General Terms & Conditions
- Photography and filming must follow HYPER JAPAN photography guidelines.
- Interviews and media coverage should be conducted professionally.
- Content created at the event should not be sold to third parties.
- HYPER JAPAN is not responsible for copyright violations or disputes.
